Fritz Ch. Omega's Limited Edition Ch. Omega's International Ike CDX, JH, WC x Ch. Omega's Honeysuckle Rose CDX, JH, WCX DOB 1/21/87 by Roger Orton Fritz is from Rosie's first litter. Co-owned at 8 weeks of age, he came home to live with us at 14 months. He had just finished his championship and could no longer remain with his co-owners. After re-acclimating for a few months, Fritz ventured forth into the world of "Specials" at the shows. His first outing earned him a Best of Breed at the Kennel Club of Beverly Hills supported entry. He had a ball in the group ring where he sat up like a bear and "spoke" to judge Phyllis Wolfish in a big voice after his up and back. The audience roared. Oh, by the way, Fritz received his first Group Placement that day! For the last 10 years, Fritz has been our ambassador and has charmed every visitor (dog people or not), who has come to our house. Visitors come to see and learn, and perhaps reserve a future puppy, but they all go away saying the same thing, "Will our puppy be another Fritz?", or, "Is he for sale?" Fritz is a large gentle guy who has a fondness for after dinner plate cleaning, which he shares with his two cats, giant kong toys, and sleeping on his back. While Fritz maybe the Big Dog on our porch, he knows his place and consistently acquiesces to the diminutive 12 year old Jump - He's no dummy. Fritz had a marvelous specials career and always loved it, but, as you can tell, that's not what makes him "Special".
