Annual Strawberry Shortcake Stand Each year the club hosts it annual Strawberry Shortcake Stand fund raiser. We lost our old location when Shoreline Kennel Club moved to new grounds and for the last two years we have been at the Orange Empire Kennel Club show. There is never a shortage of workers at this event. This year (1997) we had about 25 members show up. Mike Kunkel and Frank Holbert walked around the show grounds for hours eating Shortcake and telling everyone how good it is.
